The Gentleman has been lingering in the Great Cabin, his curiosity with the mortals at its limits in this second day. He’s even lost the taste for his usual tricks; the mortals are so dull and predictable in their reactions to him. Not to mention boorish — their reactions to his special gift of dear Sabriel were downright rude! Yes, the Gentleman is certainly done with this realm.
