Sheehan balked slightly. "How do I entertain birds?" he asked, but he didn't expect an answer. Instead, he attended to the bird, sitting down on a bench nearby. Thankfully, the bird hopped over to follow.
"So...do you have a family?" he asked with a laugh. "I don't normally do the talking, you know. I don't suppose you have anything that you want to talk to me about? Any dark secrets? Did you kill your wife? I had a patient once who stabbed her husband in the back with an ax." He chuckled darkly. "I felt sorry for her, but at least she could avoid prison. Truthfully, though, her husband was quite the asshole."
